Easily recognizable....the one who continues to say that QB is the only position that has anything to do with the passing game.
LSU will be just fine with Franks. Plus, Franks has said he doesn't mind if LSU signs another QB which LSU really needs to do since LSU only has 3 QBs on scholarship going into the 2015 season.
Big loss in my opinion. Can't say I blame him though. LSU hasn't shown any commitment to get better at the forward pass. 1 year since 2009 is an anomaly, not the rule.
Not much of a loss IMO. Once again, Gerry Dinardo said it right..."the ones you don't sign don't hurt you. It is the ones you sign that don't work out that kill you." LSU has a QB committed in Franks who at least by one service (24/7) is rated higher than Patterson. Couple that with the fact that LSU doesn't have to worry about a brother getting in the way or maybe take another couple of teammates just to seal the deal, and thanks but no thanks, I would rather LSU stick with Franks. He also isn't worried about QB competition while Patterson seemed to want to be the only QB signed in a class. This guy seems to have all the signs of being another Gunner Kiel!
