Actually Mauck and Flynn had good mobility and ran the option some....not the best option QBs, but that was because they lacked experience. I'm pretty sure Russell was a 5* QB out of HS and Kelley right now is a medium 3* so more than James Smith would have to be wrong on this guy.
If James Smith has seen Kelley play, he's got the advantage because I haven't, but if you watch just the first couple of minutes of the HUDL highlight video you can see he's wrong on the mobility statement. Kelley moves very well. Not only that, he is 6' 7" 235 and is very strong. You can see him 'moving the pile' several times in the video. By the time he's a RS freshman in college he's probably 250-260 or more and able to get that extra yard or two for a first down, something like Cardale Jones of Ohio State. I don't think we're in any danger of seeing Kelley in a LSU uniform though. By the way, If you are James Smith or know him, Rashard Lawrence of Neville is the best DT in Louisiana, not Alexander.
Again, Jennings has multiple WR's that will be in the NFL on the team RIGHT NOW. Multiple OL that will be in the NFL RIGHT NOW. Multiple RB's that will be in the NFL RIGHT NOW. Hell, JJ had Lafell, Ruben, OBJ and still couldn't figure it out. Need more proof? Jennings had both Landry and OBJ and couldn't hit them vs Iowa. I give Miles all the credit in the world for the talent we have, and we HAVE TALENT on O. Lots of it. Just, we miss out on the QB all too often and YES, it is the most important piece to the puzzle.
