Really no chance with this guy? Think Michigan has him locked up? I had heard a rumor that Mom wanted him to go to LSU. But we know how that works out sometimes. Plus only a rumor and I am far from a recruiting expert.

Everything points to Michigan, but you never know.

Yeah it's pretty much a wrap for Michigan. Give it about a 10 % chance he lands anywhere else. That 10 % chance belongs almost solely to Ole Miss.

Michigan is definitely the leader. His mom is very involved in the process and Gary has said that family comfortability is a huge factor in his decision. He's coming out to Cali this weekend with his mom. I tend to think it's more about the free trip but there's always a chance. We finally named Pendergast as the DC so with his NFL ties, that has to be helpful.

He's only got one official visit left. Unless he and his mom trip somewhere, he's not going there. He's already been to Ole Miss, Auburn, and Michigan. Is he coming to Louisiana?

"Going into this weekend, Michigan, Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU and Clemson where considered the favorites for the country's top recruit, and they might still be.

However, NJ.com has received correspondence from Gary's mother Jennifer Coney, from the West coast, indicating the Trojans could become a player in Gary's recruitment down the stretch.

"USC is a game-changer, for real," said Coney. "Believe it or not, I have checked all the boxes."

I still think he ends up with Harbaugh the perv.

I am still hanging on slight hope that Coach O can pull off a surprise. But you know...hard to have any realistic confidence.

Mom is VERY involved. I think LSU will need to score that last OV. If that happens, I've seen what O can do.

I wish Frank Wilson wasn't leaving. He was very good with the moms.

And mom made it a point to say nice things about Coach O.
