Rocked? Rocked what? She is no more Rock n Roll than Billie Holiday and far less than Green Day, not to mention she can't fucking sing.

I like Joan Jett. I saw her when she toured with Robert Plant and she is an awesome entertainer. She's gone the way of too much plastic surgery though and is starting to get that strange look.

What band or bands are your favorite that haven't made it in? As stated in my original post, mine is Iron Maiden.

I don't even know who is in or not in. I don't see what the big deal is about KISS getting in, I have no problem with it. Love Iron Maiden, they should for sure be in.

I realize you don't like her. I don't either, but if The Supremes, Elton John, Michael Jackson and Herb Alpert are rock and roll, then Madonna is. Pop and Rock have long overlapped.

The difference between all those groups/performers and Madonna? Talent.....she doesn't have it.

Trade the mic for a meat whistle and I'd bet she can play a tune or 50

Well . . . that is what my dad said about the Beatles. :D

Talent can be in the eye of the beholder and somebody bought 305.6 million Madonna albums including 8 Number ones.

I'd prefer to see Emerson Lake and Palmer, The B-52's, Chicago, Yes, or the Moody Blues any day. Those bands were huge. There have been few snub as big as rock artists of that stature who have sold that many records not being in the Hall.

Nothing like a good "meat whistle" reference to bring the conversation down to my level. Good Job!
