Top 20 CB out of Tennessee... Could be a package deal with DE Kyle Phillips who announces in a few days. Tennessee fans aren't going to be happy if this plays out. JUCO CB Justin Martin could also be in the package deal but not feeling as confident with all the DBs in this class.
Quick question bhelm. Does the commitment of Amadi mean the coaches do not feel confident in landing Marshall? I know most see LSU as having an outside shot with USC being the heavy favorite to land Marshall.
Not sure if this is the kid, (all I heard was a TN kid) but rumor has it if Chavis does go to A&M, his recruit from TN goes with him.
Haven't heard that but I would expect him to have some doubts now. In dead period and he hasn't been on campus yet so I would assume he would have to get some answers. Corey Raymond was his main recruiter and Chavis rarely gets too involved with recruiting. He will make his visit with his family on the 16th and see where we stand I guess.
The rumors may be about Dylan Jackson from Maryville, Tn. I've read that his family and Chavis have had a "relationship" for years and he was headed to LSU because of Chavis. If Chavis leaves I'm guessing all three of the Tennessee recruits go elsewhere.
I wasn't told the kids name, all I heard was it was a TN recruit. Either way, if Chief leaves we're going to lose some studs on the D side of the ball.
