Give GS their 17 home wins and they are 70-5, add in the Laker road game, that's 71-5, needing to go just 2-4 in their last 6 road games to break the record. They can probably afford to lose 2 home games and then be forced to go 4-2 in those last 6 road games. As you can see, the record of 73 is imminent. Curry may not play vs Atlanta tomorrow night, something to keep an eye on. Obviously that changes everything when he is out.
Atlanta gave them a battle at home deep into the 4th quarter Without Curry, that game is winnable by Atlanta
As expected Warriors struggle to beat Atlanta without Curry. Clay didn't step up and had a poor shooting night. Game went into overtime after a bad 2nd half offensively, but Golden State pulled it off. I assume Curry being saved for OKC Thursday night. Warriors can tie Bulls NBA record for consecutive home wins at 44.
Golden State now needing to 18-4 to break the record. Lakers on the road is up next on Sunday. So make that 17-4. Next home win breaks the NBA record of consecutive wins with 45.
