This is exactly what I was going to say - I'm very impressed with his speaking ability! I love what he is saying about staying in state and not wanting to be in an Alabama HOF, tOSU HOF, etc...
Word is Harris will be the biggest promoter of LSU going forward and will be heavily recruiting others.
Harris has been recruiting for LSU pretty hard over the last 2 months since his visit in late May. He seems to be a good fit for it based on what many coaches and family of prospects said during camp.
Harris said during the announcement and following Q&A on ESPN that Cameron Robinson is his #1 recruiting target (as of today, at least). We know he has been recruiting with a certain "bias" that makes perfect sense -- players on offense. He mentioned Fournette, Quinn, Noil, Dupre, and Cam Robinson. He is also putting in some work on future classes. Kudos to Harris! Anyone heard if he's had communication with Upchurch or not? Now that I think of it, did Upchurch attend LSU camp earlier this week? If not, anyone know why not?
