  1. Hawthorne: "McCune did great today." But we were hoping to only burn Eades today. Now we are on our 3rd pitcher (Berry, a superstar out of New Orleans high school ball that has yet to adjust to doing great in D1)
  2. Now Charlie saying LSU is on our 3rd pitcher when we only planned on using one. Hawthorne agrees

    Now they are raving about how great Jackson St is offensively, and they have been saying that all game. Read my earlier posts in this thread and you can see why

  4. Berry got rocked, another New Orleans guy with an up and down season coming in, Fury (he loves LSU)

    Jackson State had the bases loaded with only 1 out and Fury struck out the next two batters.

    The last batter in the inning had a 3-2 count and the pitch was quite a bit inside, but the ump called the strikeout. I would be pissed if I was Jackson State. You would have had the tying run at the plate if he walks.
