Jeremy Liggins: ‘LSU Is Out’ January 24th, 2012 04:37 PM║ Posted By: MrSEC.com ║ Permalink Send This Story To A Friend Quarterback Jeremy Liggins from Lafayette (Miss.) High School won’t attend LSU. “I have scratched LSU,” Liggins told 247Sports. “I was thinking about it real hard (Monday) night. I called LSU today and told them they were out.” Liggins will now turn his attention to two in-state schools: Ole Miss and Mississippi State. “I just want to stay in Mississippi and represent my state,” he said. “I love my state. I want to help bring a national championship to Mississippi.” It would appear Liggins wants to help Ole Miss win that championship. He told 247Sports during his visit to LSU last weekend he was promoting Ole Miss to junior college wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson. “I was kind of in his ear about Ole Miss,” Liggins said. “The Ole Miss coaches asked me to keep an eye on him. I did.”
Wait, he was on a recruiting visit to LSU, and he used the time to recruit another guy on the same visit to go to another school with him? Monty, TM7, Reid and company need to prepare a special hello for him come this fall.
A national championship to Mississippi? They may want to tox screen that kid STAT. You go to one of the MS schools for playing time, not to win anything.
I'd be surprised if he didn't go to Ole Miss. his high school is literally a couple blocks off the Ole Miss campus
(Translation...best of luck ever seeing what victory tastes like, much less any type of championship !!)
Randle had an outstanding season and was named First Team All-SEC by the Coaches. if we could guarantee Cordarelle the same numbers Randle had this year, he'd sign with us in a heartbeat
Actually many think that was his leader before arriving on campus. Would be pretty hard on UT, UGA, and Auburn if they spent all season recruiting this guy and he ends up with LSU and Ole Miss in his top 3. Not saying we are but he hasn't said who is yet.
