    and? height doesn't make him a football player. Just because he doesn't have protypical height doesn't mean he can't play. Don't buy into the well if he's a dt he must be at least 6'3 or qb 6'4 there's always players who shine above that

    I didn';t say he wasn't a football player. I said that's why he's not a 4 star. A fifth star is reserved for teh best of the best. You're not going to be a fifth star if your a tad slower, a tad light or a tad short. I have no doubts that he'll be an outstanding DT for LSU.

    mathieu is only 5'9". and he's a ball seeking missile.

    I don't think that Mathieu was a 5 star recruit either.

    didnt say he was. pointing out that height doesnt always make a difference. a kid just might be the best of the best anyway. we will know in a couple of years if in mathieu case.
