    True but shhhhhh:hihi:

They did have a couple who were very high profile though.

I think we sell the only DE angle as well but if he waits longer than expected we could be in a jam. Texas got Cedric Reed this class and I see Thomas playing DT at LSU.

Nobody has posted anything about Young Mr. Rasco in a while, what is the latest on him?

Nobody knows, it looks like he's got a top 4. Texas, FSU, Bama and LSU. Some people think he's gone, others think we'll get him.

If you believe that guys Aug 8th Twitter, LSU isn't even in it...:rolleye33:

DE Jermauria Rasco (Shrev./Evangel) had a terrific visit at Texas. Feel like Texas & FSU top 2 right now. Texas will get official in season

In other words, the dude has about as much clue as everyone else. None. Nobody knows where hes leaning except Rasco. I would not be surprised to see him leave the state though. I never felt he was all over LSU but we'll see.

Recently visited Texas/FSU, liked both. Hasn't talked to Brick Haley since early June. Says hes still very much interested in LSU. Doesn't sound like we're going to land him.

Maybe LSU doesn't see him as a priority with the huge logjam we have. If anyone was to leave in this class, I think his position is where we have the most depth.

Rivals articles says he took an academic trip to UT Austin during the summer. He is in constant contact with Brick Haley via Facebook but not the phone and that everyone in Shreveport is telling him where he needs to go (ie LSU) but he is letting it go in one ear and out the other.

The fact they haven't met face to face or even talked on the phone is pretty significant IMO.

Not sure what signal LSU is trying to send Rasco but that isn't a good sign. Someone is getting lazy. Its either LSU doesn't see him as a significant position of need or Rasco is sending signals off hes not too interested in LSU, IMO.

I don't buy the "hes seen all he needs at LSU" when hes making efforts to go other places during the summer, despite his busy schedule.

I'm wondering if maybe LSU feels hes a tad bit overrated....I know I've seen a lot of talk about his Junior season. Perhaps they're taking his recruiting slower since its not a big position of need and question marks on him. He doesn't exactly play in a lights out classification either, despite being at Evangel...

It may not be a lights out classification, but they schedule well. The classification does boast three perennial top 10 teams for any classification with Curtis, Calvary, and Evangel there. They always schedule 5A and 4A teams for non-district games...case in point, ask Rueben about Evangel...they're the ones that broke Bastrop's streak and a lot of it had to do with how effective Rasco was. They usually play at least one out of state game. So all in all, with Calvary, the out of state, the re-emergence of Haynesville as a contender, and the likelihood of playing Curtis every year, they typically play 4-5 really tough games per year (not counting playoffs), which is about right for a high school team.

Frankly i have never seen any high school that schedules out of state teams lik evangel. Evangel has shown and still does show that they will play nayone anywhere. In my opinion its the best program in the state year i year out.
