I knew Bama had the edge but I thought we would get another visit in for an announcement but he committed to Bama today.

He will be a good one and his recruitment is likely over given he is going to be an early enrollee which negates much late recruiting drama. But he did say he was going to visit LSU again this summer and I assume he could still come in for an official visit. Not sure if the summer visit is off but I would assume so.

The Tennessee connection is still strong. He mentioned T-town, "not that far", and we recruited him as a corner-back. With Dix and Washington, Saban has done some serious "cherry picking" out of state.

PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

Maybe he decided he had a better chance of having interceptions called a possession if he played for the refs...oops, I mean Alabama.

ONe other factor is Saban also said he would get a shot to play slot WR. Something LSU has not promised from what I have heard.

"You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Purple Tiger again."

    Pretty funny...pretty true !!

Interesting, didn't read the look at WR. In listening from one of his home town articles he is excited to play corner and thought he would get a look at special teams.

What I did hear about Washington from his high school coach "One word hips....It's all in the hips." I've always believed that about special athletes, especially D-backs.

As you stated, he did say it was down to Bama and LSU so I'm sure this one may come up again over here.
