This is going to be a good one......I remember the days of old when we used to play a&m every year. Those were usually great defensive battles. This will be a good thing for LSU just need to go in there and kick some aggie as*!! Lsu can use the exposure in texas, plus the players get to play in Jerry's Palace.....should be fun for them!!:tigerhead
These 2 teams have a long history dating back to the 1890's. LSU has a 26-20 edge over Texas A&M. Texas A&M has the edge over LSU with games played in Dallas which is 2-0.....in 1914, Aggies won 63-9 and in 1955, Aggies won 28-0! And LSU was on a 5 game skid from 1991-1995. For LSU fans, this is a bigger game of bragging rights and to get over the hump with the Aggies!! I'm looking forward to this game and miss the days of playing them every year!
LSU will have visitor's side but the seating will be half one side and half the other, from what I read anyway. Here's an interactive seating chart for the Cotton Bowl. If you put your cursor over a section it shows the price. "Team seats" are in green for each side. I assume that to be fan seats. >AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic - Interactive Seat Views<
Doesnt matter one bit since all SEC schools split it equally. Hence the push to NOT go to the Cap One. LSU was there, didnt have a great time, Cap One didnt want us a 2nd year in a row. Technically yes LSU should have gone to the Cap One,but this was the best for both us and them. LSU fans would NOT have gone to the Cap One like they are lining up for the Cotton. Since the Money makes NO difference it was a win win. Vandy is going to make millions on the all the bowl games the SEC is in. Strictly money all we want is as many SEC teams as possible in bowl games. We all make the same
