We have 17 kids on our roster from Texas compared to 6 from Florida.

sooo...we need more exposure in FLA no??

cause it's basically TX, FLA, and Cali....Cali is what it is....TX recruits itself at LSU. FLA is key IMO

I want to continue drawing talent from Florida (another PP would be nice) but very happy we're going to the Cotton instead of the Capital One.

If all goes well with the new field and they spend the money to improve the stadium and surrounding area, I'll gladly go back to Orlando. They have a lot to prove this year as last year may have been the worst bowl in all of bowl history. It was truly that bad!

My preference this year...BCS Championship, Sugar, Orange, Cotton, Capital One, Gator, Chick-fil-A, (everything else), then the Outhouse Bowl, and I would hope we would've refused to play in the Birmingham Bowl.

Considering we start a high school level QB, I'm pretty happy with 10-2 and a Cotton Bowl game.

Can't argue against that but what I'd posted was keeping the pipeline open. I was just showing you there was no pipeline in Florida after you asked if IT meant anything. Either way would be fine by me as far as recruiting though.

As for the matchup, however, I'm very happy and it's not like it would matter if I wasn't so just trying to make lemonade here you party poopin, killjoy, unappreciative sum beyotch. :hihi:

i'm gonna go out on a limb and predict that it's safe to remove the (unofficial) from the thread title.

    call it a hunch.

Hey bro...I obviously live in O-town and cant afford to travel to BR for games at the moment. Anytime I can lobby for a local game (pretty big bowl game at that), I do it.

However, saying Orlando is crap, the location of the stadium is crap (especially if you go to Saints games or the Sugar Bowl), and that the city of Dallas is heaven compared to the hell hole in central florida is just silly. And yes, I have family in Ft Worth so I do go to the Dallas/ Ft Worth area multiple times a year and every Christmas.
