Oh, this is going to be complete bliss.

I live 45 minutes from College "Drink the Kool-Aid" Station...I can already smell the dead mutt carcass wafting in from Dallas.

    GEAUX TIGERS!

Although, their fanbase is annoying, never sit for anything and have way more chants then there needs to be. Plus, they don't have any female cheerleaders to look at.

It's sad that Texas A&M knew several days ago they were being invited. LSU fans had little opportunity to purchase available tickets.

I'm waiting for LSU to tell me where my tickets are located.

There are some pretty good offenses in the Big 12, but basically nobody in the Big 12 has played defense worth a damn in years. Nebraska was pretty good on D this year, and would have run away with the league if they had a QB, (sounds familiar).

It's just my opinion, but the Big 12, much like the Big Ten, has been over-rated as a conference for years, although this opinion is built largely around how crappy Oklahoma has been in big bowl games. Also, the stink from A&M's non-conference schedule would knock a syphilis-ridden buzzard right off his perch on a honey wagon. I won't honor it by repeating it here.

So, I think LSU will be able to slow down A&M's offense, and I don't think A&M will be able to do much with the Tigers, if LSU gets some decent QB play.

The only drawback for us is that this is one of those game where we have little to gain and a ton to lose.
If we win it will be "Meh, its A&M Arkansas has beaten them the last two years soundly" if we lose it be a huge negative for us, and will hurt in recruiting...

I like the fact there are no other games that day. Hope we finish strong and get decent QB play.

recruiting in Tx seems to have dropped off, so a meh win should still mean something.

As pretty much is the same for all bowls outside the Championship. With this one, however, LSU stands to help keep the Texas pipeline open and it's also a matchup our fans have BEEN wanting to see. Most would love a home & away with A&M, at least we get a shot at 'em and it's not a year we have 4 or 5 losses so I'm looking forward to it.

Any day you get to smack an Aggie's azz is a good one in my book.
