This is like the 10th time something came out about Davis that he laughs about and says where do they get this stuff. Sure he could be playing the game but everyone of these rumors were started without any real evidence of him wavering, never a quote or a sighting somewhere. The same with this one which was started because Texas sites received word that someone is going to come back into the picture and every site is trying to narrow it down and they come up with Davis. Right now he has rumors about Texas, A&M, and Cal all within the same 3 weeks.

Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU Word from Texas fans is that Mike Davis is going with Corey Nelson to visit University of Texas this upcoming weekend. Supposedly he was seen celebrating after Texas won the other night (whatever that means). I really have a bad feeling about losing this kid, very similiar to Kenny Bell and Janzen Jackson last year. He has the chance to be bumped up to a 5 star next time ratings come out with how solid a year he had. I really hope we can keep him but Texas is supposedly starting to go after him really hard. Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU Don't really have much at this time. Rumors are rampant. The best one I have heard is that Mack won't recruit him hard as long as he is committed to LSU. I wouldn't be surprised if he visited Texas. We have the bigger need and I think he knows that. He came to LSU just to hang out many times over the year just for the hell of it. Practices, etc... He has friends here... LSU is in the drivers seat with his commitment in hand. So let him get it out of him and hope we hold onto him. Get a great WR coach and let him sure it up before NSD.

Re: 2010 WR Mike Davis COMMITTED TO LSU FWIW, he is telling the Texas mods the sam thing he is telling the LSU ones. He is still committed to LSU. Word is Nelson is still 50/50 on whether or not he is going on the Texas visit with him. That is somewhat encouraging and I guess we will see what happens. I expect him to use all of his official visits or at least a few more.
