Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter Well, the new rivals rankings came out and he dropped some and is a little to far off IMO to jump that high and the guys on the Scout national board did not seem willing to bump him that high based on a few questions on the subject. A killer season could change that though. I mean all his team has to do is throw it deep into the endzone and let him go up there and get it and he could have 30+ TDs. So it could happen...happy isl.

Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter AJ Green was a really good basketball player in high school as well. Larry Fitzgerald was a multi-sport athlete in high school as well (including basketball). He said: I see a lot of guys specialize in only one sport in high school, like they only play basketball or baseball or football. In high school, I did everything. I played baseball and basketball and ran track. I even ran cross country and played soccer. I did everything. LINK On a website for high school athletes trying to get athletic scholarships, they said play as many additional sports as possible... because the more sports you play, the better overall athlete you are going to be in your core sport. Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter COMMITED TO LSU He may not get a 5th star after all.. but he sure has hell has the measurables of one. Looks like he has the ball skills too. Fine with me. As long as he ends up here.
Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter COMMITED TO LSU ESPN currently has him as the highest-rated recruit that we've signed for the entire 2010 class so far, and they rate him better than Trovon Reed. They have him as #29 overall and the #5 WR. Scout currently has Hunter as a 4-star, but rank him below Mike Davis and Trovon Reed. Rivals currently has Hunter as a 4-star ranked above Mike Davis, but below Trovon Reed. They give Hunter a grade of 5.8 (6.0-5.8 All-American Candidate...deemed to have pro potential). Not too shabby. :LSU231:
Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter COMMITED TO LSU For the 2002 recruiting class, Rivals and Scout both had Larry Fitzgerald as a 4-star. Also had him at 6'4 with a 4.4 forty, just like Hunter (but Fitz was bigger than Hunter). According to Rivals, Fitz was interested in Saban's LSU, but he never got an offer. Way to go, Saban. Re: 2010 WR Justin Hunter COMMITED TO LSU Hunter has the potiential to carry on the LSU wideout tradition. It seems every year we have at least 1-2 WRs who have NFL scouts drooling. With him and Davis, plus C tolliver i could see them having the same effect Bowe Davis and Doucette had.
