i have a similar story. the other day at school (nicholls) they had this HUGE black dude with dreads (he made stevan ridley look like peewee herman,) and he comes up to me and says, "say bruh, let me ask you a question." and i say, "OK." then he proceeds to ask me why i was wearing an LSU shirt (vintage tiger head shirt like my avatar... okie knows which one i'm talking about, i bought it in Eauxmaha.) anyway, he must have thought i was half-retarded or something based on the look on his face, so he asked the same question again. i simply told him that if he had to ask me why i was wearing an LSU shirt that he simply wouldn't understand anyway. come to find out he was an out-of-state football player at nicholls and was wondering why he saw more LSU gear around campus than nicholls. i asked him a question: "have you ever heard of nicholls before they recruited you?" he said that he didn't. i rest my case. some people.... :geaux:
yeah they don't do themselves any favors by having their games on saturdays. they used to have the games on thursday nights so as not to interfere with thibodaux high school football or LSU football, but new administration is trying to "make things better." people used to actually go to the games when they were on thursdays, and the games were competitive and fun. SLC football with mcneese, nicholls, northwestern and SLU is pretty competitive and entertaining. but, whatever, LSU comes first, always has and always will.
I messed up... and will be going with my churchs' group of HS seniors whitewater rafting Labor Day wknd. I will be in Chatanooga, TN the weekend of the game, does anyone know if there are any LSU friendly stations around that area? Or will I just have to find a UNC channel. And before anyone asks, I will be in the middle of the woods camping, so TV will prob. be out of the question. I am bringing a small VHF/UHF TV, but it may not pick anything up?
