Its Jefferson. Dickson caught a lot of balls last year under Crowton. Jefferson has not been making his hot reads when blitzed and has often failed to both find Dickson and Keiland Williams open over the middle. He starts scrambling instead.

I agree. It's a double edged sword, though. He's gotten first downs with his legs.

It's a shame Dickson has had such a slow season so far. I hope he's still a reasonable draft pick - he's been a great Tiger.

For all Lee's difficulties, he may get the ball to Dickson more.

well, it was wishful thinking. Lee can't get it to anyone, much less specifically Dickson.

:geaux: Unfortunately Lee didn't get it to anyone in tonight's game. With the exception of two throws over the middle, one of which LaFell turned into a TD, Lee was totally ineffective tonight.:nope: Sad. Fortunately LSU got away with that performance and it didn't bite us in the azz. Hopefully JJ is back next week 'cause we will need him against Old Piss. Dickson will be back as well and hopefully JJ will look his way a few times. Total waste not to utilize him because he such a great weapon. :LSU231:

Deangelo Peterson is starting to look the part of a stud TE as well. Just need somebody to throw the TEs the damned ball.

I think the DeAngelo Peterson thing is what upset Richard and where the issue lies (the straw that broke the camel's back). JJ barely even looks Dickson's way all season. Against Bama Dickson is out with and injury and DeAngelo comes in and catches a TD right off the bat.

Well, Auburn is on Dickson hard. Malzahn was at the Ocean Springs playoff game tonite (supposedly watching and recruiting Dickson). This is concerns me. Stay tuned.

...and, suddenly, Richard had a lot more balls thrown to him against Ole Miss. Must be something to all of this. Clearly, the coaching staff listens and feels pressure given this development and focusing on getting the ball to RDickson, and the pressure a few weeks back by fans/media to get rid of checking off play after play from the sideline. Kind of sad that is when they make changes and they don't recognize these things on their own, or are too stubborn to make changes before significant negative developments like this one occur.
