1. Couple of new articles on Scout and Lache can't seem to stop gushing about LSU. He will be here for Junior day but also going to the longhorn junior day.

This will be a long battle, unless he sews it up this spring, but I feel very good about this recruit. And considering how close he, Reed, Hurd, and Wood have become, it should bode well for us with them too.
  2. He seems to have a couple of gears that he can go to when he needs to- smooth, patient and the speed! I don't see him making a decision until late, imho. I could see him holding out until NSD, and I hope he comes to LSU! This guy is as good or better than any RB out there in the 2010 class. :helmet:
  3. The big question is.............if we land Brown, does that affect Seastrunk?

I know that they are two completely different styles of RB, but will Seastrunk feel like it will hurt his PT?
  4. doesn't hurt that Texas got a RB commit today from a guy, Traylon Shead, that has a chance to break Texas all time rushing record.
  5. I think USC is a bigger player for Lache than UT.
  6. That's a pretty dumb thing to assume when he passed/is passing on going to LSU and USC's junior days but did go to Texas' last month.
  7. Because location has nothing to do with that..

  8. It's funny that you would find comfort in a prospect's close proximity to another school.
It would be quite contradictory for you dismiss something like a junior day with distance but ultimately neglect the very same factor in the final decision. Mack Brown does not lose recruiting battles with kids from central Texas.
  9. I think down the road you might be correct. USC will throw in the next "Reggie Bush" role for him.
