Texsport, just a FYI, use the Search This Forum function over at the upper right and put in the last name of the player and you will almost always something that we have previously started.

    bump for Texsport

Looks like USC could be a major player at this early stage. But we shall see.

Weren't we the favorite for him at one time? First it was Mike Dyer then LS. I thought that was part of the reason we were not after Christian Michael that hard.

That's why I was clamoring to get Michael this year. Nothing is guaranteed. Couple that with both Scott and Williams both considering leaving early.

It's too early to know where the recruitment of Seastrunk is going. It's up to him to either get it over with early or enjoy being courted. I think it will be the latter.

I thought I remember Seastrunk saying he and another player LSU was interested in wants to go to the same school? Anybody remember reading that? Trevon Reed?

I read that and from what I gather Reed is all LSU.

    Ok, so it is Reed.

You have that link? I went back to try and find it but couldn't.

Lache is not the reason Michael was not offered and you have read plenty to substantiate that.

    Yes, him.

And reading the actual quotes from Seastrunk lead one to believe that LSU leads. He certainly speaks of LSU(back home) in a different light. I imagine USC and UT will try very hard for him. Well, UT will until they ask him to commit, and when he doesn't, they will say they never offered him.

Only paid members have access to the search function I believe.

Doesn't work like that. You don't look ahead and hold out on a guy NOW and put all your eggs in the basket for the future. If you see a guy you like, you take him now, regardless of the situation next year. LS is a OOS recruit too, which are never guarantees.

And yes, the package deal was with Reed. Ford is also related to LS, which helps us with him even more.
