I really dont think the Saints need him and I dont want him either. I think with the potential in the draft they wouldn't need him. Now I do think if he goes to the right team he will have a great year somewhere but just not N.O.

he just seems like one of those guys who thinks they are bigger than the team if that makes sense. He seems like a guy who would fit in Washington.

I also could see Oakland trying to sign him

Who is available that you feel would make an immediate impact at DE and will be available when the Saints pick? With my work schedule last year I couldn't follow other teams as much as I usually do. Are there any impact DE's available late first or second round?

Maybe if Carlos Dunlap fell to us but dont think there will be a DE that will make an immediate impact around our draft pick because the two that may be there will probably be Carlos and Everson Griffin both who if the light comes on and become more consistent they could be great pick ups but imo Sergio Kindle at the 2nd round pick would be a better value. Jerry Hughes a hybrid player from TCU would be my sleeper pick at DE in the first round should be one of the players who the Saints at least consider.

They could go after Kyle Vanden Bosch, he is a free agent this year i think. Don't know if the Titans are going to slap the franchise tag on him though.

The free agent thing is really going to be weird and I don't have a handle on it yet. I've seen something mentioned about most of the free agents being labeled restricted free agents if the year is uncapped. Also the part about the Saints not being able to sign one unless they lose one, real muddy at this point to me. I'm sure the guys in the organization that are paid to know will have a handle on it. Hopefully the Saints will be able to make some defensive upgrades while holding the offense together.

Dunlap, Dan Williams, and Odrick are the ones i would look at, i hope they don't draft Cody, that dude is a waste of human sperm, and is the most fraudulent player in the draft since Jamarcus Russell.
