    Welcome.

Les Miles won a national championship with some players who were seniors and happened to enroll at LSU under Saban. These same guys were redshirted under Saban and buried in the depth chart under Saban. They were coached by Les Miles and people enamored with Saban give absolutely no credit to Miles for coaching and developing these guys.

Miles coached his way to a national championship.

You're right however to imply he lucked out to GET to the national championship game because a lot of stars had to line up for LSU to get in... but once we were in.... well ....why don't you go on an Ohio State board and ask them what actually happened if you missed the game..

As for last year, If Tebow got kicked off Florida's team after being arrested or something and they had to start a redshirt freshman they'd lose several games too. As for our defense last year... we sucked. but hold your judgement until after a few games next year... I am.

    welcome again,

Good evening, sir. I'm afraid there's a dress code here. Perhaps you'd feel more comfortable at:

Shoot him with your 2 pistols red55! I started pulling against Miami when they showed up in army fatigues a long time ago and made a habit out of fighting at midfield. Absolutely classless. The time management fiasco Miami showed at the end of their game last year was the worst I have ever seen by a Division I team. I don't mind them taking recruits away from Florida, because it hurts an SEC foe, and I know they can't do anything with them anyway. Someone remind me who won when LSU met Miami a few years ago in a bowl game. It wasn't even close was it. Miami continues to put out great citizens in the Nfl too, look at Michael "cokehead" Irvin and Ray "murder in a Limo" Lewis. Those are alumni to be proud of. Have a nice day!

let's remember the post is about jeff luc guys....tha u has some points as well as mastermind....but in fairness shannon did not have nationl title talen especially on offense he did have some talent on the defensive side but not enough...I actually believe miami will field one of the best defenses in the country this year they definately have the talent...i think miami will suffer the same fate as we did last year with problems at the QB position..

It's all good here. I understand this is a lsu board, but I will defend myself with facts unlike what I have been seeing excluding a couple of posters (gely33, bhelm) most of you will just talk out of the side of your neck.

Do you think Luc's Haitian heritage gives Miami the edge here? Read that over the weekend.

Nah, I don't think so. I feel it is wide open right now. His family moved from Miami when he was younger because he was getting into trouble, so he is not a lock for Miami. It just depends on what's the best fit for him.
