Welcome, Tha U, because I live in S.Florida I am forced to go to Miami games with my best friend, he is a season ticket holder. I am writing this post so you can tell Randy Shannon to learn how to coach, your record was supposed to be better last year, the UNC and Florida St games were just poorly coached, but winnable.:thumb:
I feel like it will be a state of Florida battle, including the big three Miami, FSU, an UF. I don't know who has the lead as it is early in the process. He probably won't committ until signing day.
Well I watched an interview from the Tampa 7 on 7 from this weekend with Luc and I would say Miami leads just based on the fact that he knows the most about Miami and the way he talked about yall. He has attended practices at Miami and not UF or FSU so he did not have much to say about them. He says he has no top 5 and is wide open. Will also leave the state if the opportunity presents itself. Only 2 out-of-state he talked about were UGA where he has family and SC. He could be down playing FSU however because most thought they were the early leaders and he wants to send the message that he is wide open to keep the offers rolling in. His brother played ball at FSU and that was the team he followed. He is attending FSU's Junior day with his brother this weekend. He will also commit before NSD because he will be graduating early and wants to enroll at his school of choice before NSD.
BHELM i would never take any comment on here personally we are both stating opinions i just think your is wrong in this matter.. i think luc is the best LB prospect in this class so far and im pretty sure it will not change..rivals has him at number 10 on the top 100 and he want be staying there as THE U said i think he will be in every recruting services overall top 5 prospects period not just LB's... i have looked at the other guys u have mentioned and i dont think any of them are as athletic as luc. as a matter of fact no other LB prospect i have seen brings it like he does he reminds me of how loston get's to the ball "VIOLENTLY" he plays alot in there cover 2 packages and is usually manned up on slot guys and he can run with them....
So we don't disagree. That is my point. I am pointing out other attributes that are not known from the film that will be evaluated by coaches across the country. Many kids can lay the wood and run fast but I just want to see the intangibles. Even Luc acknowledges this in the video interview I just watched. He said the coaches liked his speed to the ball and what he does when he gets there and he wants to show coaches the other intangibles he can bring to the table and camps and combines. I am not predicting he will or not be the best LB in this class. I am just pointing out we actually see more of the abilities of other prospects from their film. No just hitting, speed, and coverage. I will say I think he is the best at covering TEs and WRs based on all the footage the tape showed. I also think it is way to early to say he will be the top 5 by all services. Rankings change and LBs get the shaft most of the time in favor or QBs, WRs, RBs, and DEs.
Very funny, seems like LSU's coach is in the same "learn how to coach" boat. The only difference is this is Randy Shannon's first gig.
Enrolling early is something that I did not know. That's good, well I guess we will see this upcoming fall.
That wasnt a slight, I like Shannon, but Id kinda hold my tongue on Les, he has an National Championship under his belt.
lol, he stumbled on an NC. Oh ok, I guess he will do some more stumbling this season with the #1 recruiting class. Oh, thats right Shannon had that last year and couldnt do crap with it. Like I said, it wasnt a slight, I like Miami and Shannon, but you took it personally, maybe you should toughen up a bit. Shannon is a great recruiter, but his coaching is another story. Truth hurts huh.
