I guess we'll have to refer to it as the Ides of February if that happens.

Half-true... We lured Barksdale in as a DT, knowing he could move to OL, but promised (& delivered) that he would get his shot at DT. We left him at DT for Spring, and then the coaches told him that he could be a good DT, but he could be an amazing OT. He chose to switch.

Basically the same deal with Will Blackwell, and it would not surprise if that ended up happening with Marsh. However, I believe Marsh can & will be a good DT for us.

Thanks for the info. CParso. I recalled there was talk amongst those here on TF about a possible switch to the OL for Barksdale, and that's why I doubted the claim Miles deliberately misled Joseph.

This is going to be one to worry about until NSD.

USC might come in with an offer as a DT instead of OG if they haven't already. Ogeron is giving him something to think about.

Thats hard to hear, but I suspected something would come up with Marsh being from Cali.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about USC much. Unless he wants to go to a school that is almost assuredly about to be hammered by NCAA sanctions.

A lot of alumni over there are saying the same thing...and some don't understand the Kiffin hire. Especially considering hes a NCAA violation machine.

After seeing Marsh rep LSU like he did at the all american game I am not worried...Why would anyone wanna go and play for Dennis the Menace at USc anyway.

Just for the record, I am not saying it looks bad for LSU by any means but just something to watch out for in the coming weeks. USC may not offer for all I know and he could still decide on LSU if they did.

well, Kiffen will be done in 2-3 years, so a recruit the level of Marsh should just stick with a stable situation like LSU. whether fired, or forced out, you can book it that Kiffen will be gone like most of his stops have resulted.
