Re: 2010 DT Cassius Marsh is a Tiger! Just as I expected but I did expect him to wait a little longer after his USC visit to make up his mind but I will take 2 days after the visit. Not bad landing the #8 player out of Cali and at a position of need for LSU.

Re: 2010 DT Cassius Marsh is a Tiger! Cassius is on the radio now doing an interview and he speaks really well. A couple of you knows and umms, but very articulate and mature. He said he was at the LSU/Florida game and was really pissed off with Florida jumping on the eye. He said Chief said he will be playing the 3 technique rushing the passer. He and Moffitt set a goal during his visit for Cassius to break the power clean record by the time he is a Junior (current record 375lbs). Loved the fans and thought the fireworks before the came were crazy. Classy and grounded comes to mind. His high school team is ranked in the top ten in the country.
Re: 2010 DT Cassius Marsh is a Tiger! Rarely post on pigskin recruiting. But, this one inspired me. Terrific get to Chavis and Haley, who are slowly getting the headlines and recognition they deserve. The LSU defense will be well set in years to come with Chavis at the helm and questions about their recruiting hopefully start to fade. This is monumental not just b/c we fill a position of need with a very solid player, but knowing the pedigree of his school and a nice little pipeline into CA that could form, and you've got to be psyched. Now, nothings a done deal until he signs, but if this holds, I think Miles and staff have to look back on Marsh's commitment as being a very nice step to recruiting the West in the future.
