:geaux: I could handle picking this kid up. IMO would be a real coup for the staff if Ferguson ends up at LSU. Sounds like we got a great shot. :LSU231:

Obviously we're looking at signing more than 25 kids this year...

He said he loved how all the students knew who he was and keep yelling at him to come to LSU. He said he didnt think it wouldve been that personal if he had come to the UF or AU game. Also said he loved how he got alot of one on one personal time with the coaches, etc...pretty much, he enjoyed how it was all about him

excellent, I think he could end up as a HUGE pickup for us. not sure if he'd play DT or DE, depending on which formation we set up in. I know Jackson was huge playing DE at 6'5 290 so if Ferguson is quick enough which im pretty sure he is, he could become a major force.

I mentioned that I thought coming to the Tulane game could be beneficial for those reasons.

Ego and especially his father sound like all business types which is understandable with these types of decisions.

Have a feeling we'll land this guy for some reason...don't know why. Just looking at his recruitment and who he has taking visits to...makes me think LSU is his leader. He holds everything close to the vest and hes hard to get a read on. It seemed like he took his recruiting slower after LSU got his visit...and the Brick Haley connection can't hurt us at all. PT should be a good selling point because we desperately need dominate trenches again.

I think we'll finish the class out with Ego, Wright and Fobbs, IMO.
