We scored on our first two drives, I guess they were just going to use him on offense. Third series they put Fobbs in and he completely shut down the left side. One pick and two breakups and we quit throwing left. I wish I could've seen Randle play to compare. But this kid does not look 5'10'', 180 lbs. My son is 5'11 and 170 and they matched up most of the night, he had a good first quarter before Fobbs came in, (4 catches and TD) but this kid made him look like a toothpick.
I admit I'm not the best judge of players, but I'm also not easily impressed, this kid to me has the "it" factor.

    Great stuff.

And this coming from someone who's son was pretty much shut down by Fobbs. That's certainly no bias here.

The staff is on him very hard and very good chance he switches his commit to LSU as a WR.

He is staying pretty quiet so it is just wait and see time.

I think he'll be a Tiger. Especially if we somehow do not land Reed.

Just wondering, anybody heard anything about Fobbs decommitting A&M yet? Would think Reed leaving would make Fobbs a necessity for LSU.
Also is Fobbs better than Wright or is he higher on LSU's board?

I think it is a matter of time. The staff feels really good about it from what I hear and are in constant contact with him.

Not sure who is higher on their board out of the 2 but it is very close.

Wright is more of a pure WR, and Fobbs is a WR/CB IMO. I'm not sure what the coaches would prefer, but that's how I see it at least.

    Both..

EDIT: Of the two, I think Wright makes the earlier impact at least on offense.

Fobbs is not going to be a WR at LSU, no matter what he was told, IMO. I think his future is at what LSU projected to him first...CB.

It will be interesting to see if Jarrett does indeed decommit to A&M. Fobbs and Jonathan Stewart are very good friends and so I can definitely see him going to College Station. However, A&M is just not a good football team and I have to wonder how long the Aggie backers will stand for Sherman continuously getting blown out by the likes of Arkansas and Oklahoma. Particularly when Texas is on the verge of playing for the National Championship again. So, if the axe does fall on Sherman I could definitely see Fobbs switching his commitment.
