that's the thing about thunder, it's loud, and it can be scary, but all it can do is hurt your ears. Geaux Mavs!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, I really like the Thunder. If they weren't playing Dallas I would definitely be pulling for them. I have been to OKC before and I really like the city, it's quiet for a big city, which is nice. The drive was not that exciting though.

The New Battle for I-35 is upon us.

Will be interesting to see the PG matchup of Kidd/Westbrook. Two completely different styles that will highlight experience versus youth.

Some of the criticism for Westbrook has been excessive although he does need to improve in getting his team more involved. It can be a fine line for a scoring PG.

Karl Malone was interviewed last week and asked which PG from today that he'd like to play with (assuming Malone was in his prime). He picked Westbrook, which kind of surprised the radio host.

Kidd even though he is old has been playing some really good defense lately. He guarded Kobe alot in the Lakers series, and did as good a job as you can do on 24. I was totally against the Kidd move when it happened because we had to get rid of Devin Harris, but it has actually turned out to be ok since J Kidd found the fountain of youth.

so the most athletic ever player possibly ever in the nba up against kidd. better hope the refs let him grab onto this dude for dear life. this matchup should decide it.

dirk is playing out of his mind but still has that choke gene that people like to forget because they swept a struggling lakers team.

does collison get dirk after ****ing up zach the last couple games? or maybe that euro-africano ibaka. probably both.

over/under on what game perkins gets ejected? Ill go game 1. thats one unhappy mother ****er.

C'mon man. The honeybadger will straight up shred kidds ankles. Westbrook can take 98% of the NBA off the dribble.

Dirk/Durant will each get theirs, don't think anyone on either team really has much to say about stopping either one of them.

This leaves the rest of the mish mash. Jason (I shoot too much) Terry will be lucky to hit nine 3's in the series much less one game. This series will come down to how the rest of the teams play. What makes the Thunder so special is how deep they are. Our entire bench could probably start elsewhere in the league which is why it is now or never. Those cats won't be second fiddle for long.

Perkins , wow, what a dude. Reminds me of an elephant when he gets the ball. His value is allowing ibaka to run around and swat helpless shots into the 3rd row which is nice to watch.

All said, it comes down to these first two games. If Dallas wins them both you can call it. If OKC steals one it will go at least 6.

I think Dallas is the deepest team in the league. I mean you got Peja, Terry, Haywood, and JJ Barea all coming off the bench, you throw in a power forward in there and you got a team that would have made the playoffs in the eastern conference. That's just the bench. And we aren't talking about Caron Butler and Roddy Beaubois, who are both injured but could come back this series. Tyson Chandler will match up well with Perk, but I still give the edge to Chandler, no one can guard Dirk, but I don't think we have a guy that guard Durant, Marion is going to have to take that role. Going to be interesting in seeing who starts for Dallas, and will Deshawn Stevenson be in the starting line up, or will we see Caron back?

I think the Thunder have a real chance of stealing one tonight being that Dallas hasn't played in over a week, but I still agree this goes 6 games, Dallas 4-2

Will be fun to watch at both ends of the floor. Mainly to see what KP does to alter Chandler when Dallas has the ball. Perkins on offense is, well ...offensive.

I'd take our bench though, Collison is a beast, Hardin is a quiet assassin, manor is nails, Nazr is getting long in the tooth but still has some game.

    Enough talk, it is on.:thumb:
