Kobe and crew were just horrible this postseason and very inconsistent this season overall. To top it off they are pieces of **** too. Way to go out Lakers and nice way to possibly send Phil off.
The Mavs look awful good. I don't think the Thunder or Grizzlies can stop them. I wouldn't mind seeing Dallas win. I definitely don't want the Heat or Celtics.
Geaux Mavs baby, Lakers showed their true colors at the end of game 2 and 4. Thugs, nothing more nothing less. Tracy Morgan and Lamar Scrotum can suck it, have fun watching the rest of the playoffs jerk offs. MFFL, Geaux Mavs!!!!!! And just think, Caron Butler and Roddy Beaubois are injured.
I've heard a couple of brief comments on local (Houston) sports radio shows about a wife from one of players on the Lakers apparently telling Pau Gasol's fiancee that she should know some things about Pau before marrying him. That's all the info I've heard. Whose wife is the one that has the dirt on Pau? Given Pau's high level of play in the past two postseasons and this year's soft performance, does anyone think this story (whatever it is) affected his play?
I think they just ran into a better team. No one on the Lakers played well except Andrew Bynum. Kobe shot for a good percentage, but didn't have a dominant game. Obviously Dirk Nowitzki was the best player on the floor. I think alot of Pau's struggles were due to the fact that the Mavericks just played great defense. Their defensive rotation, having Chandler bang on him, and Haywood bang on him, played alot into it being that Pau is a finesse big man.
I grew up a Lakers fan in the Magic era and thoroughly enjoyed their 3-peat with Shaq. With the Shaq/Kobe divorce, I felt like I had to pick sides and have been a Laker-hater since. I'll have to make it a point to watch Lamar Odom's reality show (shows?) to see him addressing the cheap shot and epic Lakers debacle. I have a feeling he might fade away into the background on that show due to personal preference. Bynum is definitely a punk although he may not have hit Barrea that hard. Barrea was exposed and landed awkwardly, which made it look much worse. Artest actually handled the situation well by escorting Bynum out of the arena. Assuming the Lakers are able to get over their drama and Kobe's knee heals, I think all they need is an upgrade at PG to contend again. Get rid of Fisher & Blake and bring in an above average PG. Hopefully they don't figure that out and fade into Bolivia (as Mike Tyson would say).
Yeah, probably so about Pau. Still curious about the rumors. I've always liked Dirk and thought he was unfairly criticized in the past. I live in the Houston area and we HATE everything about Dallas. One of the sports radio hosts this morning said "You know, other than the Dallas on the front of the jersey, are they really that unlikeable?". The other guy said, "Well, not compared to the Lakers". I like J.Terry alright, read a good article this season about Tyson Chandler that made me like him, and think it's cool that the former Matrix has revitalized his career. I think Kidd still gets it done at a high level but can't really root for him personally. Kidd beating LSU in college, some of his past issues off the court, and that extremely annoying free-throw "kiss" that he used to do. Personally, I don't hate everything about Dallas (only the Cowboys) and hope they make it to the finals, given the other options at the moment (Grizz/Thunder). I never realized until just recently that Fort Worth also has issues with elements of Dallas.
i read an article yesterday morning which said it was Kobe's wife although it said Pau was married and she said something to his wife. all sounded bogus not that i care. the article was just there. im just glad his ugly grill wasnt pictured.
So wait, Kobe's wife want's to talk down on a guy for being a womanizer? Maybe she needs to quit looking beyond her own front door.
