Durant has as many 40 point games in these playoffs (3) as Derrick Rose has for his entire 3-year NBA career, including the playoffs (3)

    guy is unstoppable

Might have been his best game ever but he has had similar performances throughout his career. Not really something new but just got to the line more than usual. He has shown this all year and especially in the playoffs.

Westrook is a great player but just needs to focus less on shooting and focus on being the leader of the offense. When he does he and his team are very tough. He just needs to do it with consistency and turn to the scoring role when he is on fire and/or when his other teammates are struggling.

No one wants to talk about the Heat and I understand based on past threads. They won a critical game tonight.

BTW, in the playoffs there has been a reversal of roles. Wade is the one usually starting off hot and now Lebron has turned into Mr. 4th Quarter.

I'm pulling for the Bulls but enjoy watching the Heat also. I've always liked how Wade plays on both ends. He & Lebron have a unique chemistry and are always looking for each other. I like the fact that they'll have to go through some pretty good teams if they want to win it all.

When I was watching "The Decision", it was immediately obvious that it wouldn't be good for his image. When I heard a few days later that it raised a lot of money for charity, took less to play for the Heat, and just wanted to win (i.e. didn't care about sharing spotlight with Wade); I couldn't quite make him the bad guy like everyone else.

Then the stories (factual?) about Lebron's mom & Delonte, Gilbert showing his lack of class, and other stories of his time in Cleveland; it was just time for him to move on. He's living in south beach and playing with his best friends. I can't fault him for choosing that path. The Decision was a bit obnoxious though, probably partially b/c of ESPN.

regarding the Heat, are they even favored to beat the Bulls? it looks like the Bulls are a much better team top-to-bottom. the Heat got lucky to win last night with a big game from that new guy -- the guy with the dreadlocks that just came back from injury -- in addition to a bad game by Rose (Rose played horrible last night)

I heard Vegas has the Heat favored although many experts feel that the Bulls are the better team, as you mentioned. The advantage that the Bulls have with their bench is enormous.

I watched the game with a few friends last night and my prediction was that the Heat would win by 2 with Haslem (guy with dreads) having a big impact. Up until the last few minutes, I thought both might come true.

The Bulls dominated the glass in gm 1 and I was trying to come up with something unique so I luckily mentioned Haslem. The Bulls/Heat series includes three players from Florida - Mike Miller, Haslem, and Noah. Brewer plays for Dallas so those guys are well represented.

When I mentioned my Haslem prediction, my buddy said that he had a better one. He said the linkedin IPO was going to skyrocket. I guess his prediction was a little better than mine.

The Bulls have the best overall roster which is a given since the Heat have a couple of more years until they have the cap space to build a bench. Pretty impressive what Riley has done up to this point.

However, as we have seen throughout the playoffs Rose has to be on to have a chance to win. The rest of his teammates have shown up for a game and then are non-existent the next. Never know what you are going to get. If Rose is on and his teammates are playing well then they will dominate. Just hasn't happened much so far in the playoffs up to this point.
