congrats tigers. and thank you to the pontiff family for your contributions (in so many ways) to lsu and your community. always 31.
Yea did not sound good but I would say he was trying to say that we put the scholarship money on the table and PM convinced him to choose the baseball scholarship over the full scholarship he would receive if he chose football.
Took my kid to the game. Sat behind the first base dugout. Saw some great hits. Awesome homers. Great night for a ball game. Largest attendance of all the Wally Pontiff bb games. Enjoyed the tribute to Wally in the 7th. Tigers win. Good times. :geaux:
man, he had an infectious smile. one dude we sorely miss as a person thats for sure. sad i tell ya. glad we won.
It is indeed sad, I still think of Wally every time I watch the Tigers play :geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige:geauxtige
It just sounded awful and to make that on a national telecast ----- Good win for the Tigers. ldskule::tigbas:
I saw Mr. Wally openning night. He gave me a big hug and asked how things were going in MS before I even had a chance to ask how he and his family were doing. To say the family is remarkable is an understatement. Wally was such as special person because he was raised by exceptional people. I still tear up everytime I see Mr. Wally.
