Re: Montrell Conner is a Tiger! I don't understand this whole ordeal. The kid is the real deal and will be a heck of a player. I haven't heard anything bad about him so as far as I know he is a good kid. There has to be more to this than what we are hearing. It's just so hard to believe that CLM would not accept this committment regardless of who else we are looking at, Connor is that type of player. I hope this gets worked out very soon!

Re: Montrell Conner is a Tiger! I don't think it's public... but that is the word. They are also saying that this booster isn't one of the good ole' boys, yet it seems to me he's using his power to get his way for a recruit. He should let the coaches do their jobs & STFU, IMO.

The guy was bigger than anyone on the field his sophmore year and went up against the likes of neville, West Monroe, Bastrop 3 times, Breaux Bridge, etc... in his career. He destroyed a powerhouse out of Mississippi his sophmore year too. Were you at the Ruston jamboree when he had people coming out of their seats in amazement?? He put a stiff arm on a backer from Ruston that was so sick that the whole crowd that was slam packed was jeering for minutes. There were fans from Calvary Baptist screaming for this kid to get back on the field, because Carr was using a 2 tailback system for the game (playing Chris Brown for one series and then Conner). The guy is a freak and the fact that he doesn't have an offer is absolutely absurd.
