I am just really glad that we're gonna have him in purple and gold. I will let Miles and Co decide what position he plays.

I think he's the calibur of kid that will help us whether he is RB, LB, or even a S.

Again, really good pick-up for the Tigers!

I want to add that Miles' public image has really added to the draw of LSU.

Before last year, Miles was considered by many to be a coach who was underperforming and relying on the players that Saban brought in. With the whole Michigan situation, Miles gained a lot of prestige just by being a candidate for the job quite honestly (plus winning a NC of his own), but also became the antithesis of Saban - a man of his word & high character.

I agree totally! LSU is coming out smoking HOT! Miles was coveted by a historic program, and he CHOSE to stay where things are GREAT, LSU! His public persona has grown over the years, and I really enjoyed his press conferences after the championship. He comes across confident, down to earth, and he relates to the everyday Tiger fan real well. His athletes seem to get along with him. And he has integrity, said he was staying at LSU, and he stayed.

The championship seems to be leveraged into this signing class. I don't ever recall this quality of athlete committing to LSU this early. WOW! This is fun! :geauxtige

Whether he commits today or down the road Im confident he will be Tiger. I think we rack up again with the top in state talent.

It is funny how the recruiting services vary. Both Scout and Rivals has LSU with 5 commits, but they differ on who committed. Rivals has Connor but now Downs and Scout has Downs but not Connor.

But T. Jones is being shown as a commit. I wish they would make up their minds.

Neither Tahj Jones or Montrell Conner are LSU commits. Neither one has a commitable offer, which they did not realize.

Conner is still being evaluated (I think the coaches want to see what he projects best as), while Tahj Jones needs to improve in the classroom.

If Conner did actually try to commit, but couldnt because his offer isnt commitable then he may feel rejected. Hopefully that isnt the case.
