I actually like Maclin too he's like a taller Percy Harvin without the injuries who I also like as well

Darius Butler had a great pro day today, Brian Orakpo also still dont think his Coverage skills are good enough for OLB but he is a good pass rusher and probably stay at DE with occassional plays where he could drop in to Zone coverage.

Still got Sean Smith(former WR)> Malcom Jenkins and really fell alot of people have Malcom Jenkins high because of his "big school" status.

I hate the pick of Vontae Davis. Have a feeling he's going to have attitude/work ethic issues.

DB scares the hell out of me because we've arguably never had a great one in a Saints uniform. Yes, some were great before arriving. Yes, some did well here but not exceptional. This is the position you would have the hardest naming great players in Saints history.

Even McKenzie wasn't great. Was he the best we've had the past five years? Yes...but he looked even better considering the other members of the secondary. Factoring in his injury time, I don't think he was worth the salary he was paid.

If our offense plays as well as they did last year...or possibly even better with a running game and a healthy Shockey, the defense should be playing with a lead in many games. If so, we might not need a lock-down CB so I would prefer having someone who can lead the secondary, force turnovers, and can tackle.

At this point I'm not real excited about Davis or a RB as our first pick.

Honestly can't say that I have anything substantial, but it's the general opinions I've heard about him from people who are paying closer attention. He was benched last year for a bad attitude.

If the Saints were to pick him, I'd back him, I just don't want him personally. Think we can do better in a lot of other players.

Just imagine if the Saints would've taken Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie last year in the first round like they should have and could've still taken Tracy Porter or another CB/S in the 2nd round. We would take BPA or DT this year in first round prob P.Jerry from Ole Miss because we would probably be picking later anyways. Sorry for dreaming
I like Maclin, Harvin and Nicks for a first round offensive pick over Wells and would take Rashad from Liberty or Gartell Johnson in later round for a RB option.

I understand, I would rather Darius Butler and Sean Smith over Jenkins and Davis for DB/S options.

I know...it hurts to think "what if?" :bncry:

At least we didn't draft another Chris Naeole, Russell Erxleben, or Ricky Williams with our first round pick.
