If they had a second round pick, then they'd need to do BPA on defense in both the first and second round. There's just no way they should go offense with the holes they have on defense.
Well, if you want to say it's possible for the Saints to pick an offensive guy in the first round, I wouldn't put anything past Payton. However, it wouldn't be smart, no matter which offensive player is available. If a great offensive guy slides, use it as leverage to trade down.
One of my sleepers for this draft and a player I wish the Saints would pick up is Gartrell Johnson anybody that has watched him will know why.
im on board with this analysis, i think the saints need a linebacker, and should try and pick up corners in free agency.
yeah, i forgot to say that I was being sarcastic about the t.o. and crabtree comments. awesome playmakers but the saints need a secondary more than anything. an outstanding linebacker could be benificial
