Don't take me for a Jr lover, I am not that at all. Hell I am not a big NASCAR fan at all, I would much rather NHRA anyday. Jr is a fricking crybaby.

My point is that Vickers continued the block well below the line where he should know that Jr can't pass him anyway. I have no problem with him forcing Jr below the line, its a great tactic. But he kept it going. Could he have been trying to drive Jr off the track? Jr obviously came back in hard and very fast and clipped him.

In relation to what happened, I'm not sure what this means. Jr. dropped low to try to pass Vickers, BV dropped low to block, getting his left tires on the lines. Jr. did not get his nose alongside BV's bumper until he was well below the yellows, and I did not get the impression that Vickers tried to push him into the grass. DE should have lifted and fallen back into line or completed the pass below the yellows and hoped NASCAR gave him a break (wouldn't be the first time for that). He chose instead to dump Vickers.

Well the drama for Daytona has ended. Some surprises come from this running of the great American race. Richard Petty Motorsports have three cars finish in the top ten. Nice job however this comes on the heals that this is the first Daytona race without a Petty driving in at least a thousand years. MAJOR friction between the King and his son Kyle. Kyle was MAJOR pissed he didn't even get a call about using his 44 paint scheme from his very first race at Daytona which he won in an ARCA race. The King states that he and Kyle have been going in two different directions for some time now and so, there it is. Father and son disagree. Imagine that!

Smoke pulls a top ten in a back up after a weekend in HELL for the Stewart Haas camp. Newman, dude...
Will be nice to watch and see how Smoke and Newman can run on a cookie cutter. Soon we shall see.

Waltrip finishes 7th however that does not come as a surprise as he drafts well. For him to keep it up would be the surprise. Didn't see Buffay, WTF? Reutiman finishes 12th.

Texas Terry Labonte after strugglin HARD finishes on the lead lap in 24th, 3 spots ahead of Jr. :hihi: Poor Jr...

The rest is really a result of rain which I hear STOPPED 10 minutes after they went off the air.

Joey Logano finished last. Did this come as a surprise to anyone? I kid the kid. I do believe this has all the makings of the first year of a guy named Jeff Gordon. Say it ain't so???

    Next up:

One boreing phuckin race in California. I will be with my son for hopefully his first win on the BMX local series. Lil dude got some leg. Just sayin

You ain't lying there! That track couldn't even fill half the stands last year. Just think how bad it will be this year with the economy like it is. Fuel mileage race every year. I'm gonna keep tabs if anyone is bringing a Hybrid to race this year!:D

Oh and I forget to say that Mike's brother and sister in law sat in the parking lot for hours waiting for the traffic and it rained all night, at least off and on.

That's weird. Some fugger that "said" he was there said the rain stopped 10 minutes after. Gonna have to take your word for it. Going on a 6 pack.

they said it slowed down almost to a stop but then started right back up and poured or sprinkled for hours after the race. I wasn't there personally but that is family...lol!

I don't know how they get this number, but NASCAR states that it takes them 3 hours to dry that track. So even if it stopped minutes later, the race would not have restarted for several hours.

I don't buy it. I think FOX told them to pull the plug because FOX did not want to go over.
