I mostly agree except I'd give Jasper an A+. I believe he'd have won this game for us if given the chance.
Refs were not the reason why LSU lost this game. Frankly im still puzzled how LSU got the lead in the 4th quarter. They were being completely dominated through 3 quarters. Game should not even have been this close.
I couldn't agree with you more. LSU was lucky to be in the game in the 4th Quarter. It could have been much worse. I wish you guys the best of luck in the future and beat Ohio State for me! The refs have nothing to do with the reason we lost this game. That is a pathetic excuse!
PSU was the better team, congrats. However your team isn't good enough to put anyone away. PSU was lucky Crowton was on the other sideline. You still haven't.
Joe Pa took Les' lunch money most of the day. One team was obviously more talented than the other, but the less talented team was smarter, better coached, and more disciplined. The last minute of that game was a comedy of clock management errors. The personal foul might have been a questionable call (IMO, no more questionable than the no call offsides on PS's last play), but what isn't questionable is that you can't call a middle screen with no timeouts with less than 30 seconds left and you can't waste like ten seconds after the penalty in that situation. Les in way over his head.
There were some questionable calls, but LSU beat LSU today and Gary Crowton led the charge. PSU was the better team, LSU is light years away from where they should be.
Congrats on a good game. Ya'll played well, and we insisted on making it hard for ourselves against a defense that doesn't beat it itself. Good luck to you, and knock off Ohio State.
I don't get the JJ hatin' going on. In the second half, he was spot on. At one point, he was 6-8 in the second half, with the two incompletions being Terrance Tolliver drops...of perfect passes. He used his legs well when he had to, and even showed a glimpse of pocket presence. I just don't understand what you guys expect from a true sophomore QB with a bad OC. - If not for JJ's play, LSU loses by two TDs.
I would agree. A lot of dropped balls and bad penalties too. Those are the key areas I think need to be in focus come next season.
