It's over. LSU lost. What did they have going against them.... 1. Sentiment favorable to JoePa 2. Poor offensive play 3. Incompetent quarterback 4. Worn out defense 5. Chavis' stability during bowl week 6. Mile's lack of urgency 7. Starting two running backs out 8. Lack of play makers getting into the game 9. Mile's arrogance This is all I could come-up with in five-seconds.
Was the officiating crew a Big 10 group? I thought the bowls were officiated by uninvolved conferences.
Gary Crowton deserves to be fired for that screen pass. You call a play with 40 seconds left that would REQUIRE a spike on the following play? So that is TWICE on last minute drives that Crowton has called a screen pass allowing the clock to run.
because the coaches never show a sense of urgency until late in the game when they start to let the game slip away. they settle for pathetic offense until the very last minute when it's too late. they should have the same intensity in the first quarter as the fourth. that has been happening entirely too much the last two seasons.
What was Russell Shepherd's status? (Is he hurt, suspended, ???) - Serious question. Not suggesting he should have played QB, but just wondering why I didn't see him.
did he not have a short catch in the first half? the camera man was late getting to it, but i swore i saw #10 with a short catch.
