Crazy end to the second half.... Other than in the red zone, I'm surprised at how soft LSUs defense is playing. No real surprises on LSUs O. You guys have to remember that JJ, although a decent QB, just isn't fully developed yet and has faltered every time against a good D.
Not true. Holiday has been in on several plays and not seen the ball. This has everything to do with lack of execution and not being able to make a play than anything else. The defense stepped it up in that last drive, but they have had multiple chances to make a big play and not come through. The offense cant create a thing. We cant come close to establishing a run game.
LSU is playing poorly on offense...to say the least. But, it is true. Every ball is bouncing Penn State's way. It's almost bizarre. BTW, JJ just looks totally non-enthusiastic to me. He looks like he's moping. He needs better leadership skills.
You must still be drunk from last night if you think Shep is going to run all over this PSU team on that field. Besides I don't think he's thrown a pass all year, this isn't the game to let him throw for the first time.
The entertainment value of this game lies in seeing just how bad the LSU offense can get. Would it be possible to finish with negative yardage? Might they set a record for three and outs? Could Jordan Jefferson do something to make Brad Nessler or Todd Blackledge slip up and say, "This guy is one of the bigger jokes in college football." I'll be watching, waiting, on the edge of my seat. BTW: Good job, Tiger D. :tigereye:
