Then it becomes a matter of maintaining it until the end of the next season. Postseason, thankfully, counts in the attendance figures for this.
with a bunch of playoff games (hopefully) those should all be sellouts or real close to it. One thing I know about people in Louisiana is they are front-runners, so they will latch onto this team.
That's just anywhere except in Atlanta. If the Hornets keep playing like they are, no doubt more people are gonna be going to the games. They played great again tonight beating the Nuggets by 24, it wasn't even close in the first half, total domination. Chris Paul's stats: 23 points, 17 assists, and 9 rebounds.
I don't know what season ticket sales look like, but I would expect they go up as well as attendance for next year should the Hornets make a playoff run. This is exactly what they need tight now.
it's kinda a moot point in the long run, though when you think about it, because it will be same ole same ole once this winning stretch ends. But we'll worry about that when it comes. As long as CP3 is there, the team will succeed at least moderately.
I've heard the opposite from someone with first-hand info over at hornetsreport.com Right now thy are sitting around 6,500 season tickets so I think it can't go down lol.
You could be right. I just remember hearing Jimmy Ott saying it did count. I don't think this information was included on the original information release.
don't know if postseason counts or not, but the news last night said there was 50(something) homegames left to hit the number needed. Don't think they would give an exact number if an unknown amount of postseason games could be added to the mix.
True, and the sports section has a graph with a specific number. Too bad, the NBA Finals will be sold out...
