We need to start the Paul for MVP campaign...Nash had two MVP seasons with lesser stats than what Paul is having this season and let's not even get into the talent surrounding Nash and Paul.
Chris Paul was named Western Conference Player of the Month. According to NBA.com his stats for the month were the following: "Paul averaged 24.5 points, 10.4 assists and a league-high 3.0 steals in guiding the Hornets to a Southwest Division-best 9-5 mark. Paul’s month included two 40-plus-point performances and three games with at least 15 assists. With season averages of 21.5 points, 10.2 assists and 3.0 steals, Paul is attempting to become the first player to average at least 20.0 points, 10.0 assists and 3.0 steals for a season. "
I received tickets to that game as part of my Christmas. I was glad to see that people showed up (the attendance was 16k+), especially the ultimatum given to the fans of New Orleans and plus the fact that it was on national television. For some reason, it was one of the more enjoyable games I've been to. Oh, and Bobby Jackson was on fire last night.
Leading the division, too. I wish people would go out and see them, they're really a fun team. The Sonics game the other day when it started out with five dunks or so by the Hornets (most by Chandler) was awesome.
