I only said the overrated remark to jerk your chain. The Jazz are solid. Although you are cursed by Barkley right now. What's up with the horrendous road record? I know they always play well in Salt Lake, but damn, that's a black-eye when I look at the standings.
Don't get me started on the road, it is not uncommon over the years that they lose close ones away and dominate at home. However, with the Jazz you can pretty much bank on the fact that you know how this team is going to progress. They almost always finish strong leading up to the playoffs. Sloan likes to rest his players more during this time before he lets it loose. Hence, a scattered lineup tonight with all the subs getting extra minutes.
You're probably looking at the overall average, but everything before December 1 doesn't count towards Shinn's deal with the city. The average from December 1 to February 29: 13,743 They have just under a thousand to go before they reach the goal. Seven of the last eight home games have had at least 14,000, which is definitely good. Friday was the fifth time they've had at least 17,000, with four of those coming in the last six home games.
So will he play, or should I say, be effective? http://blog.nola.com/hornetsbeat/2008/03/andersen_reinstated_by_the_nba.html
Not sure what they will decide to do. But it is hard to pass up another big man to sub in for Chandler while Armstrong is still developing. 3 man rotation for the playoffs and Tyson had some injuries this year. The Anderson thing did not really get much attention media wise and I think that makes it a little easier to give this guy another shot. It will at least increase his value if the Hornets want to trade him in the offseason.
Well, it was on the front page of ESPN until Brett Favre took over. I say let him have his shot, but I don't know that they'll want to even try it.
