IMO, No that is not at all what I got out of watching those games and the ones with him in the lineup. Maybe he carried some kind of in locker room swagger I dont know. Pargo brought an equal amount of intensity to the floor and he is younger. BTW, I think when we get the guys from Houston in the lineup more it will be considered an even swap that balanced both our needs. They had 23 minutes combined tonight and showed great promise in our system.
Mike James is a loser. Once the initial "I am pissed off Houston traded me" wears off, it will be back to jacking up 30 foot three pointers. Bonzi is a really, really good player, though... He will help no doubt.
I won't say he is the sole reason, but it is fishy the team's last 6 losses all come with him out the lineup.
Pure coincidence. You're just looking for an easy reason to place the blame. In my opinion, the Hornets have a bullseye on their backs, especially since they play in one of the toughest conferences in the league. Teams bring their A game when they play us now. Maybe the Hornets have gotten complacent. They're still a very young team.
Finally, something positive after that skid. They snapped the losing streak by beating the Suns and thus completing their season sweep of the Suns. Chris Paul played another excellent game. Another positive is that after posting just above 11k for the game against the Wizards on Monday, the Hornets bounce back with a sellout. The largest crowd of the season. It outdrew the previous game (Rockets on 2-22-08; 17,714) by almost two hundred. Attendance for the Suns game (2-27-08): 17,931 Average attendance (12-1-07 to 2-27-08): 13,575 Remember, the average attendance goal is 14,735. They're inching closer and closer.
the Hornets win again, beating the overrated Jazz. 2 wins in a row. 2 games in a row they cut Mike James' minutes. Coincidence? I think not. Why is Bonzi not playing?
Funny, but the Jazz scared me at 1st when N.O. went on the 32-0 run in the 1st. I just had a feeling a typical Jazz team would never die. They showed what they are capable of in the 2nd and 3rd with back to back 30+ point quarters. Hope this isn't a trend because they came back down 26 on Detroit the other night and somehow slide by with the W. Sloan will have this fixed in no time. If it wasn't for the 1st quarter slumps this past week they would have won, IMO. I was kinda looking forward to getting a sweep over the Hornets. Here is hoping to 3-1. I am glad they are playing well again.
