LSU Reveille http://media.www.lsureveille.com/me....shtml?reffeature=recentlycommentedstoriestab I could have sworn Clair had wrote it when I saw they had a Hornets/NBA story...Clair get on that!
The news had it wrong, during an entire season (including the playoffs), the max amount of home games that a team can play will be is 57 games. 41 regular season games and 16 playoff games if a team has home court advantage in all 4 rounds and each series goes to the max of 7 games...The Hornets have already played 23 home games, which means that they have 18 regular season home games left. IMHO, it is pretty sad and dissapointing that some people seem to be more concerned about attendance than the actual play of the team.
Well, when you consider that average season attendance is a stipulation in the Hornets contract with the state to stay in New Orleans, it's understandable why people would discuss it. It's not overshadowing the play of the team, though.
I'll definitely be watching them destroy Baron Davis from the comfort of my couch. :thumb: I did get tickets for the Boston game, though.
Well, they can't win them all. Maybe they had a hangover from the big games they've had lately? Who knows. Tonight's Warriors game attendance: 14,410 Average attendance after tonight's Warriors game: 12,856
Warriors played great defense in the 4th quarter to pull the game away...Stephen Jackson was on fire tonight, I think he's a great player, but I would put him together with Rasheed Wallace as the most inconsistent players in the NBA.
I heard the announcers say that Coach Scott would have been the West All Star coach had they won last night. I never realized the coaches of the teams with the best records were selected to be HCs.
