2006 Recruiting Class Commit List

As of now, how do ya'll feel this class has addressed LSU's needs?

 

Biggest needs were probably DB's, LB's, and OL (and WR to some degree). Depending on a few guys qualifying I think we addressed those needs nicely. The DL and RB's were just icing on the cake.

 

Bordelon is from Central Lafourche. Former starter's Ryan Thomassie and Nicky Savoie are from South Lafourche as am I....

 

and now we add JARED MITCHELL out of WESTGATE of New Iberia. He is a QB with athletic skills. He is recruited to be a WR. But he chose LSU to pursue both football and baseball. He is a talent and given a couple of years, he would be a welcome addition to the WR corps. we have now. Welcome the OLE WAR SKULE , JARED, my alma mater, 1980-83.

 

Do we have 25 as rivals states or 26 like Dandy Don says? First post on this thread only has 23 listed. Which is it?

 

25, I dunno where Dandy got his count from unless he is counting Holliday towards this class.

Edit: We're missing Jared Mitchell and Derrick Odom on this thread.

 

He has been including Holliday in his count.

 

Makes sense, I think Rivals eventually adds them into their rankings on signing day.

 

I thought Holliday counted in last year's rankings..?

 

I just wish National Signing Day would hurry and get here, and make everything official, and quit worrying who might get picked off by someone else.
