IMO, Caddy is the BEST RB in the SEC....I really do believe that...but the better question is...how many SEC Championships has he played in? Winning the West outright is something he needs to do.

How many times have we heard this?

Sorry, but I just don't see what all of the hype is about.

    few observations

First, Travis Daniels passed over for first team all conference by Charlie Peprah???

I can't even imagine Peprah making second string at LSU much less being an all conference performer based on what I saw of him last year.
I would even put Auburn's CB Rogers on the first team ahead of him.

    Best Jukes: Andre Caldwell
Uhhhhh, who led the nation in punt returns last season???

    Fastest Player: Justin Vincent
Hate to knock one of our guys, but Vincent might not be in the top 10 fast guys on our team.

Best NFL Prospect: Michael Munoz, Tennessee
Purely based on Dad's career in the league. I'd be willing to bet at least 10 guys from the SEC go before him.

All in all a pretty entertaining read, however.

I think the statement that Cadillac is the best back in the SEC is very debatable. If you want to compare stats to Justin Vincent, well, JV averaged 6.0 yards per carry as opposed to Cadillac's 5.3. Cadillac averaged almost 23 carries per game and JV carried the ball an average of 12 times per game. I shudder to think what JV would have finished with this season if he was relied on as much as Cadillac.

Not to take anything away from Cadillac, he is a great back, but if someone asked me to chose between JV or Cadillac, I would without a doubt choose Vincent.

My sister went to Tenn so I don't say this with any disdain for them but anyone else think Munoz is over-rated? Heck, Pollack handled him like a rag doll the last 2 years....and I know what many of you think of Pollack.

    How can you say that?
If he was a quarterback that might be a true statement but a runningback no matter who he is won't win a championship for you by himself.

I realize that but many people that I know from Auburn (Not the ones online, they are the ones I like) have tried convincing me that Caddy is one of the best RB's in the SEC since the days of Walker/Smith and I guess I don't agree with that until Caddy can win a Division Title. Maybe I am getting too carried away but before I crown someone one of the best ever I like to see them win at least a Division Title if they are surrounded by a good amount of talent, which I think Auburn is.

Vincent didn't even start the whole season and still had great numbers. I realize we need to get players experience against cupcakes but if he were to start as many games as caddy Id put my money on JV. Even as a freshman he played against the hardest competition and in the biggest games and succeeded. Our back up running backs would start at many other schools around the nation. Its a shame some of these guys can't start because we have some great backs. :thumb:
