jrbeavo-Is there any truth to what you say? In other words, does this "rumor" come from a reputible source? I heard that OSU was a possibility, but I've heard of OSU fans saying it's a done deal. I think it's a great idea to play more Pac 10 schools.
to compare OSU to an AVERAGE CUSA squad is just petty in my opinion. If you are the type to try to win an argument by blindly belittling your opponent, then I'm talking to the wrong guy. I realize that Western part of the US doesn't exist as far as some of you are concerned, but there is some fine ball played out here and it is a fan-friendly type of ball. we have some legit skill players that are fun to watch. the reason we more than likely lose the game is our lack of depth and speed in the trenches. Plus, wouldn't it be a nice change of pace to have some fans down there that you otherwise would never have to opportunity to interact with? I realize that the size of our fan base pales in comparison to yours, but the folks that would make the trip are plenty passionate...if we could get in the stadium, I gaurantee there would be 10k there. By the way, didn't you guys lose to Arkansas too? What does that prove?
We lost to Florida. We beat Arkansas 55-24. I would like to apologize for any rude or crass behavior from any Tiger fan in this forum. I think that it would be an exciting game against a Pac-10 contender if you guys will come down and play us for the money.
No it isn't. You are a complete idiot. TCU, Memphis, and Houston do not have the talent, depth, speed, or size that Oregon State has. TCU does not have a quarterback that can complete passes downfield. C-USA, as a non-bcs conference, simply cannot recruit the players that SEC/Pac10/Big12 teams can. TCU and Houston have to compete with OU,UT,aTm,TTU,Baylor, etc in the SAME STATE.
You are right, some guys post with out really thinking about it, C-USA is by no means on a par with the PAC-10. He's just being flippant do to all of the BCS crap about the SEC/PAC 10 going on recently I'm sure. I would love to match up with your offense and our D as we haven't played a team quite like OSU in a while, it would be fun. We should handle you guys but I think it would be fairly interesting. Who do you guys have coming back next year, will you be loaded. We will.
TCU may be better than OSU (at least this past year), Memphis may give them a good game, but no way can you try to say Houston is better.

I think some of the tiger faithful are a bit out of touch if they compare the Pac 10 to CUSA. The Pac 10 may have been down a bit this year but only on the defensive side of the ball. I think it would give L.S.U. great exposure on the west coast and it would be a challanging game. If Mauck doesn't come back I think it would be a close game especially being the first game of the year. Geaux Tigers
