Saban's success at LSU has went on and has played a part into the success we are having now with Les Miles. Not taking anything way from Les but this program took some pretty big strides from '00 to '04.. those 4 years Saban was apart of LSU and has made this program what it is today and I will always have respect for Saban I think the guy is a class act not just as a coach but as a man. He's a great speaker and a motivator and can get the most out of anyone. I think that LSU has also done some great things to put Nick Saban into the category he's in at Alabama because without the success at LSU he might not be coaching at Alabama. Make no mistake about it though he can make any program better but his high profile resume as a head coach started in Baton Rouge. And believe it or not he certainly knows it....

I have no problem with either the invitation or Saban saying he would be there if he didn't have a game. As long as he's over yonder, he'll be the enemy and I'll hate him. But he was a huge part of that National Championship team and deserves to be recognized as such.

Besides, Mett, OBJr and Landry can properly welcome him back to Death Valley in a few weeks by hanging 50 on his defense.

I gotta say I'm happy he was willing to come. As much as I despise him he was part of that championship and deserved it. Good for him remembering his roots. Now when we play him he can die in a fucking fire.
