Probably not, but it's not impossible. Maybe a better example would be a 2 loss team winning their conference being selected over a 1 loss team who didn't win their conference.

I never thought I would see a 3 way tie in the SEC that had to be decided by the 7th tie-breaker rule ... this year proved that anything can happen!

 

OK. I'll go along with a 2 loss team having a legitimate shot. That's bound to happen sooner or later.

Hold the phone, My post was not about any support for USC. My opinion is that they are a major conference champion while OU is not (and coming off a loss). What you do at the end of the season should mean alittle more than what you do earlier For example, look at how much LSU has improved since the Florida hiccup.

My post was in no way "adamant" for USC over OU. Don't take your anti-USC anger out on me. I, too, beleive that USC plays in the worst conference of the top 3 teams. I also think that the fools in the national media are going to set the TYrojans up for a loss to a Michigan team that USC's defense will not slow down.
